When using PurpleSmart AI, Inc.'s services, you entrust the company with your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled through our websites (purplesmart.ai, fictional.ai, and others), applications, and linked services. It applies to website visitors, app users, job applicants, and other individuals interacting with the company. The policy does not cover personal information processed on behalf of business customers, which is governed by separate agreements.

Personal Information We Collect

Information you provide: We collect contact information including names and email addresses, plus contact details shared when inviting others. Account credentials like usernames and passwords are collected. Payment information necessary for transactions (name, card details, billing information) is processed by payment providers; we don't access full card numbers. Communications exchanged with users are retained. User-generated content such as photos, videos, and writing uploaded through the services is collected. Conversations with conversational AI services are recorded and transcribed to power responses and generate insights. Marketing preferences and engagement details are tracked. Other information may be collected as described at collection time.

Users providing third-party contact information must inform those parties about processing and confirm permission.

Automatic data collection: We and our service providers automatically log information about users, devices, and interactions, including operating system type and version, manufacturer, model, browser type, screen resolution, device type, IP address, unique identifiers, language settings, and general location data. Usage data collected includes pages viewed, time spent, previous websites visited, navigation paths, activity information, access times, and engagement with communications and links.

Collection tools include: cookies, which store information on devices for navigation, preference retention, and functionality; local storage technologies like HTML5, which provide similar functions with larger capacity; and web beacons, which track webpage and email access or content viewing.

Information from other sources: Third-party login services may share information when users connect or log in through providers like Google. Social media platforms where we maintain pages may provide information from user interactions. Other users may provide personal information about individuals through service interactions, processed to power user experiences but not linked to the individual's account. Additional personal information may come from marketing partners, public sources, and data providers.

How We Use Personal Information

Service provision: administering, hosting, and operating services with personalized experiences powered by unique context and user-generated content processing; communicating and responding to inquiries; analyzing service usage for evaluation and improvement.

Research, development, and improvement: We use information to analyze services, identify trends, expand business activities, and create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified statistics for lawful business purposes including analytics, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Marketing and advertising: Direct marketing emails notify users about promotions and events as permitted by law, with opt-out options. Advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to collect interaction information across services and other online services, serving targeted ads. Information about users may be shared with companies to facilitate interest-based advertising.

Compliance and protection: Personal information is used to comply with legal obligations, enforce terms and conditions, defend against claims, protect service security and integrity, and identify fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activity.

How We Disclose Personal Information

Information is disclosed to service providers helping operate services or business; professional advisors like lawyers and auditors; law enforcement and government authorities as believed necessary; business transferees in transactions involving divestiture, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sales; and others as described in this policy or at collection time.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Account management: Registered users may review and update personal information in account profiles by logging in.

Marketing opt-out: Users may opt out of marketing communications by following opt-out instructions in received communications or contacting us. Non-marketing communications may continue.

Online tracking opt-out options: Browsers allow cookie removal or rejection following settings instructions. Mobile device settings may limit advertising ID use. Privacy-focused browsers like Brave or plugins like Privacy Badger, DuckDuckGo, Ghostery, or uBlock Origin block cookies and trackers. Google Analytics can be opted out through a browser plugin. Advertising partners Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Microsoft offer opt-out features. The Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative provide industry opt-out options. Opt-outs are device and browser-specific.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

Data Deletion Requests

Users may delete accounts and associated data through the Fictional app by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and confirming deletion. All associated user data is permanently deleted from our servers per applicable data protection laws. Users experiencing issues or preferring manual requests can contact support with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.

Other Sites and Services

This policy does not apply to third-party websites or services linked to or integrating content. We don't control third-party operations and aren't responsible for their actions.

Security

We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Internet data transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure; we cannot guarantee personal information security despite our efforts.

Retention of Personal Information

Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for collection purposes, per our retention policies and applicable legal requirements. Retention period determination considers information amount, nature, sensitivity, unauthorized use risk, purpose achievement through other means, and legal requirements.

Job Applicants

Job applicants provide business and personal contact information, professional credentials, skills, educational and work history, and other resume information or interview-provided details, including voluntary demographic information. Background checks and information from employment research firms, recruiters, identity verification services, and public sources are collected. Interview notes and suitability assessments supplement applicant information. Accepted offers result in information incorporation into employee records.

Applicant information is used for recruitment activities, application processing, candidate communication personalization, evaluation, recruitment statistics monitoring, employment relationship administration, service improvement, and compliance and protection purposes.

Children's Privacy

Services are not intended for children under 18. Personal information collected from children under 18 without required parental consent will be deleted.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy, updating the date and posting changes to the services. Material changes will be communicated to users.
